SMOKED Baked Beans

Comfort food never tasted so good!

6 strips thick cut bacon  1 small onion chopped 2 tsp garlic 2 cans Pork and Beans ¼ cup light brown sugar 2 Tbsp molasses ½ cup BBQ sauce 2 Tbsp yellow mustard


Set up the smoker to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Preheat the dutch oven to medium heat on your stove top.

Add the chopped bacon to the dutch oven and cook until it starts to brown.

Add onion and garlic to the bacon and stir to coat in the rendered fat. Cook until the onions have softened.

Add the remaining ingredients to the dutch oven and stir to combine.

Place the dutch oven on the preheated smoker at 250 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 2 hours. Stir beans every 30 minutes.

Remove from the heat and serve while warm.
