Ingredients

  • 16 ounces frozen French fries thawed slightly
  • cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  • Remove your fries from the freezer. Let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes while your griddle preheats.
  • Preheat your griddle to medium-low.
  • Once Blackstone is preheated, Spread the oil out in an even layer on the griddle.
  • Add the slightly thawed fries in a single layer. Be careful to break them apart before adding to your griddle if you have any large clumps that are stuck together.
  • Close the lid if you have one, and let them cook undisturbed for 7 minutes.
  • Stir, and cook for another 10 to 12 minutes, stirring again after 5 min, until golden brown.
  • Remove from the Blackstone and put in a large bowl. Season with the seasoning salt and toss to coat all the fries. Serve immediately.

Notes

Allow your fries to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. Then store in the fridge for 2-3 days. I do not recommend freezing leftovers because they likely won't reheat well after being frozen. To reheat, place on a baking sheet in the oven or back on the Blackstone until warmed through.
