Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the Blackstone griddle over low heat.
  • Peel the carrots and slice them into ¼ inch thick slices.
  • Place the carrots on the griddle. Then pour the ¼ cup of water on top of the carrots and cover with a dome lid to steam the carrots.
  • Cook for approximately 4-5 minutes, then flip the carrots and cook for another 3-4 more minutes until the carrots are tender.
  • Top the carrots with butter and let it melt and then add in the brown sugar and salt and stir until combined. Cook for 2 more minutes and toss to coat the carrots with the glaze mixture.
  • Remove and serve while warm. Enjoy!

Notes

Transfer any leftover carrots to an airtight container and allow to cool completely.
FRIDGE: Store carrots in the refrigerator for three to four days.
FREEZER: These carrots can be frozen for 2-3 months. However, keep in mind that the carrots may be a little mushy after they are thawed and reheated.
