Ingredients

  • 8 slices Texas Toast
  • 8 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Spread the mayonnaise on 1 side of each piece of bread.
  • Then place one half of the bread onto the Blackstone with the mayonnaise side down. Top the bread with 2 slices of cheese then place the other piece of bread on top of cheese with mayonnaise side up.
  • Heat the sandwich for 2-4 minutes until the bottom piece of bread is golden brown. Flip and cook the opposite side sandwich for 2-4 minutes.
  • Remove the sandwich to a plate. Let the sandwich rest for 2-3 minutes so that the cheese is not too hot. Cut in half and enjoy!

Notes

Allow each sandwich to cool completely and then wrap them individually in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. You can also place them in an airtight container or plastic bag. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. I don't recommend freezing.
For best results, you'll want to reheat on the stovetop or on a griddle. You don't need to fire up the entire Blackstone, unless you just want to. But a little unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat will help to crisp up each side of the bread again and melt the cheese.
