Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 packages taco seasoning (1 ounce each)
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ½ cup water
  • 12-16 soft shells taco size

Instructions

  • Heat up the Blackstone to 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add oil to the blackstone.
  • Add the ground beef to the griddle. Break it apart and start browning the meat.
  • When the meat is just about done browning, sprinkle the taco seasoning on the meat and then add the salsa. Stir until combined.
  • Continue breaking apart the meat until the beef is cooked through and no longer pink.
  • Add in the water and stir to combine. Cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  • While the meat is cooking, heat up the tortillas on the blackstone for about 1 minute a side.
  • Remove the meat and the tortillas from the heat.
  • Assemble the tacos and top with your favorite taco toppings.

Notes

Fridge: Store leftover taco beef in an airtight container, separate from the tortilla shells and taco fillings for up to 4 days.
Freezer: Freeze leftover beef once cooled completely in individual portions for convenient lunches or as a whole to eat for a meal another day. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
Reheat leftover taco beef on the stovetop or in the microwave with a little bit of water to keep the beef from drying out.
