- ¼ cup molasses
- 1 Tablespoon ginger paste

Glaze
Add 2 cups apple cider, Dijon mustard, honey, ginger, and molasses to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until reduced by ⅓, stirring often, about 5 minutes.
After glaze is reduced, whisk in cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and ground black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.
Ham
Preheat smoker to 275 degrees Fahrenheit according to manufacturer's directions.
Line the bottom of a roasting pan with thinly sliced apples. Add cinnamon sticks.
Place ham on top of the apples and pour remaining 1 cup apple cider into the roasting pan.
Place into the preheated smoker for 1.5 hours.
After 1.5 hours, baste the ham with the glaze every 30 minutes.
Remove the ham from the smoker when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice, serve and enjoy.

Freezer: Slice leftovers and store them in an airtight container or freezer bag, separated by parchment paper. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
Reheat leftover cider glazed ham in the microwave in 30 second increments for simplicity. If you are heating up a lot, you can put it in the oven, covered with foil at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes.
