Apple Monkey Bread

Easy and delicious Monkey Bread stuffed with tender, juicy apples and topped with icing. This Apple Monkey Bread on the grill is perfect for camping or mornings when you don't want to heat the house up! You can also make it in the oven!

  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 packages Cinnamon Rolls with Icing
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. apples chopped


  • Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 9'' x 13'' foil pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place cinnamon and sugar in gallon resealable bag.
  • Cut each cinnamon roll into six pieces. Place cinnamon rolls in bag with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Shake the bag to coat pieces.
  • Place the cinnamon roll mixture on bottom of pan.
  • Stir together brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Pour mixture over rolls. Place apples on top of that.
  • Bake in preheated grill for 35-40 minutes with grill cover closed or until brown on top and cooked through.
  • Drizzle icing over rolls.


You can also prepare this is a preheat oven at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.
