Smoked Crumb Apple Pie Recipe
This Smoked Apple Pie is made on your electric smoker and it's so amazing! A flaky pie crust topped with layers of apples and a sweet crumble on top. - 1 pie crust
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 5 1/2 c. apples peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. brown sugar packed
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. butter
Set the electric smoker to a temp of 300 degrees. Let preheat 10-15 minutes. We recommend using apple wood chips.
Place pastry in a 9" deep dish pie pan.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Toss the apples in this mixture and pour into the pie crust.
Combine the crumb topping ingredients. Sprinkle the topping over the apple mixture.
Bake the pie for 1 1/2 hours. Remove pie from smoker. Cool and serve with ice cream.
