- 12 count slider buns
- 11 ounces sliced deli ham
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 Tablespoon honey mustard
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
Preheat the smoker to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 inch disposable pan. Set aside.
Slice slider buns horizontally and arrange the bottom of the buns in pan. Slice them as a "slab" do not pull them apart in individual buns because you want to keep them connected.
Layer ½ the ham on the rolls, top with cheese and then the rest of the ham. Top with the top "slab" of buns.
In a bowl combine melted butter, honey mustard, dried minced onions, poppy seeds and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk to combine.
Evenly and slowly pour the mixture over the rolls. Use a silicone brush to evenly distribute over the tops of the buns.
Cover pan with aluminum foil. Let the buns stand for 5 minutes. Then place in preheated smoker and smoke covered for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
After 1 hour and 30 minutes remove the foil cover and smoke for another 30 minutes uncovered.
Remove from the smoker, slice into individual sliders and enjoy immediately.
Fridge: Ham and cheese sliders are best enjoyed right away but if you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freezer: Wrap individual sliders in plastic wrap then store in a freezer bag or airtight container. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer until hot throughout.
