Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground pork sausage
  • 8 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 1 pack Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 buns)
  • 6 slices American Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your griddle to low.
  • Prep ground sausage while griddle preheats. Place ground sausage on a sheet pan lined with wax or parchment paper. Press the sausage into a rectangular shape slightly larger than the sheet of Hawaiian rolls. Set aside.
  • Cut the sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally so you have a top and bottom “bun” for each slider. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, milk, salt and pepper together.
  • When the griddle is preheated add sliced bacon to the griddle top and begin to cook. Once the bacon is cooked to your preferred doneness move it to the side of the griddle.
  • Carefully flip the sausage patty from the baking sheet onto the griddle.
  • Cook the sausage patty on the first side until the meat is over halfway cooked through and a slight crust develops. Flip the patty to the second side and move it to the side of the griddle.
  • While the sausage finishes cooking, pour the eggs on the griddle and scramble them.
  • When the eggs are just about done cooking put them in a rectangle about the size of the rolls and top the with the cheese slices.
  • Melt the butter on the griddle and place the rolls cut side down on the griddle and toast until toasted to your liking. Flip the roll over to toast the opposite side.
  • While the top and bottom are toasting start arranging the sliders. Start with putting the sausage on the bottom part of the rolls followed by the scrambled eggs and cheese before the strips of bacon and the top half of the rolls.
  • Transfer to a baking sheet or cutting board.
  • Cut into individual sliders and serve immediately.

Notes

STORAGE
Fridge: Store leftovers in an airtight container, or wrap each slider individually in plastic wrap. Store for up to 3 days.
Freezer: If you made way too many sliders, wrap them individually in plastic wrap then store in a freezer bag or airtight container. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
To reheat, pop a slider or two into the oven or microwave until thoroughly warmed through. Keep in mind that the longer you store the sandwiches, the more soggy they will become, and they won't reheat as well.
