Ingredients

  • 8 slices Texas Toast
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 Tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Preheat the Blackstone Grill over low heat.
  • Spread the mayonnaise on 1 side of each piece of bread.
  • Then place one half of the bread onto the Blackstone with the mayonnaise side down. Top the bread with 2 slices of cheese then place the other piece of bread on top of cheese with mayonnaise side up. Heat the sandwich for 2-4 minutes until the bottom piece of bread is golden brown. Flip and cook the opposite side sandwich for 2-4 minutes.
  • Remove the sandwich to a plate. Let the sandwich rest for 2-3 minutes so that the cheese is not too hot. Cut in half and enjoy!

Notes

FRIDGE: Store leftover grilled cheese in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
FREEZER: Wrap grilled cheese in plastic wrap or foil and then place in a freezer bag. Freeze for 2-3 months and allow to thaw before reheating.
Keep in mind that grilled cheese is best fresh. While leftover can be stored, a fresh grilled cheese is the most ooey gooey and crispy on the outside!
