- 8 slices Texas Toast
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- 8 Tablespoons pizza sauce
- 8 slices mozzarella cheese
- 20 slices pepperoni
Preheat the Blackstone Grill over low heat.
Spread the butter on 1 side of each piece of bread.
Lay the bread butter side down on a clean surface and spread 1 Tablespoon of pizza sauce on each piece of bread.
Put a slice of cheese on 4 of the pieces of bread, then top the cheese with the pepperoni, then another piece of cheese, and the top with a piece of bread with just the pizza sauce on.
Place the sandwich on the Blackstone and cook on each side for 2-4 minutes or until golden brown on each side.
Remove the sandwich to a plate. Let the sandwich rest for 2-3 minutes so that the cheese is not too hot. Cut in half and enjoy!
While leftover can be stored, grilled cheese is best fresh. Allow the pizza grilled cheese to cool completely and then transfer to an airtight container or wrap in aluminum foil or plastic wrap.
FRIDGE: Store leftover Blackstone pizza grilled cheese in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
FREEZER: Wrap grilled cheese in plastic wrap or foil and then place in a freezer safe bag. Freeze for 2-3 months and allow to thaw before reheating.
