Grilled Sweet Potatoes

Sliced sweet potatoes tossed on oil and seasoned makes a delicious, healthy side dish prepared on your grill.

  • Preheat gas grill to high. If cooking directly on the grill grates make sure to oil them. Place them on a grill pan if you don't want to cook them right on the grill grates.
  • Add sliced sweet potatoes, olive oil, pepper, garlic salt and smoked paprika to a bowl. Toss to combine.
  • Lower heat to medium. Place potatoes on the grill and cook for about 10 minutes on each side or until soft when pierced with a fork.
  • Transfer potatoes to another bowl and toss with more salt if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Fridge: Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Freezer: You can freeze leftovers if you think you have too many to finish up. Freeze sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet before storing them in a freezer bag. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to make the outsides crispy again.
