Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Burger

- 2 pounds 85% lean ground beef
- 3 teaspoons Beef seasoning
- 4-5 strips bacon cooked crisp and crumbled (½ cup bacon bits)
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- ¾ cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 jalapeno seeded and diced small
- 6 Hamburger buns
In a medium-sized bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese and jalapeno. Mix well and set aside.
In another medium sized bowl mix together the ground beef beef seasoning and bacon until combined.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. About 350 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also cook these on the Blackstone, Smoker or in a heavy duty flat bottomed skillet or cast iron pan on the stove top.
Divide the ground beef mixture into 12 equally sized balls. Then make them into patties. Make sure the circumference is the same. Add 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture to 6 of the patties. Top the patties with the cream cheese mixture on them with one of the plain patties and seal edges well. If you don't seal the edges tight the cream cheese filling will leak out.
Place burgers on the grill and cook until one side is brown and seared for 8-9 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until desired internal temperature is reached about another 8-9 minutes.
Serve on buns with toppings of choice.
