Do I need to remove the seeds from jalapenos?
For stuffed burgers, I recommend removing as many seeds as your can before dicing the peppers. The seeds could end up in the burger and may make a funny texture if there’s too many.

Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Burger
Ingredients
- 2 pounds 85% lean ground beef
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- ¾ cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 4-5 strips bacon cooked crisp and crumbled (½ cup bacon bits)
- 1 jalapeno seeded and diced small
- 3 teaspoons Beef seasoning
- 6 Hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese and jalapeno. Mix well and set aside.
- In another medium sized bowl mix together the ground beef and beef seasoning until combined.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. About 350 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also cook these on the Blackstone, Smoker or in a heavy duty flat bottomed skillet or cast iron pan on the stove top.
- Divide the ground beef mixture into 12 equally sized balls. Then make them into patties. Make sure the circumference is the same. Add 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture to 6 of the patties. Top the patties with the cream cheese mixture on them with one of the plain patties and seal edges well. If you don't seal the edges tight the cream cheese filling will leak out.
- Place burgers on the grill and cook until one side is brown and seared for 8-9 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until desired internal temperature is reached about another 8-9 minutes.
- Serve on buns with toppings of choice.
