Smoked Steak

Ingredients

  • 4 thick cut steaks 1- 1 ½ inch thick (New York strip, tenderloin, T-bone or rib eye )
  • 2 teaspoons Beef Seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat smoker to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Use a paper towel to pat your steaks dry on all sides. Season well on all sides with the Beef Seasoning.
  • Place steaks on the smoker, close the lid, and smoke until the internal temperature of your steak reaches 115 degrees Fahrenheit, about 30-45 minutes depending on the size of your steak. Flip the steaks after 15 minutes
  • Remove the steaks from the smoker, place on a pan and cover with tin foil.
  • Turn the smoker up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Once your smoker reaches 450 degrees Fahrenheit, place the steaks directly on the grill grates. Cook for 3 minutes, flip and cook for another 3 minutes or until your steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Remove steaks from smoker and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
