Campfire Breakfast

These campfire cinnamon rolls are so easy! They can be made over the campfire or over the grill. Just grab a package of refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing and a tin pie plate and you are set. Plus, there is like no mess. That’s a win any day in my kitchen or campfire or wherever you are!

Speaking of messes.

Spring is here. That means mud is here. Kids are running in and out of the house.

I literally swept my floor three times today. My husband is like, why don’t you just wait until the end of the day?

Good point, dude.

But there were people in and out of my house all day and it’s embarrassing. It looks like I haven’t swept my floor in weeks. Except it was ten minutes ago. Sigh.

My other question of the day is why is it so hard for children to shut the door when they go outside? Maybe it’s just my kids?

My middle child is the worst by far. She just walks out the door and leaves it hanging wide open. Luckily, the bugs aren’t out yet. We are trying to reform her before that happens. Otherwise I had to result to fly tape to get all the flies.

How redneck is that?

Hillbilly right here. It’s ok, I embrace it.

So when it comes to messes my goal is to avoid them at all costs because it seems that my family creates plenty of them that I get to clean up.

Cinnamon Roll in handThese cinnamon rolls are the answer to a mess free breakfast while you are camping or just something fun to make on the grill or over the campfire.

How to Make Campfire Cinnamon Rolls

All you need to do is grab a package of refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing and a pie tin.

Heat up your fire or your grill. While it’s heating place the cinnamon rolls in the pie tin and then place them over the campfire or on the grill. Let them bake about 15 minutes and then rotate them 180 degrees. Then let them cook about 10-15 minutes longer. Watch this closely as your fire could cook it faster depending on how hot it is. We don’t want burnt cinnamon rolls!

Pull them off the fire and ice them.

That’s it!
