Homemade BBQ Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar packed
- 1 1/2 c ketchup
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp dry mustard
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 c. yellow onion finely minced, optional
Instructions
- In a saucepan combine all of the ingredients and heat over medium low heat. Stir to combine.
- Bring the ingredients to a simmer, reduce reat and simmer on low for 8-10 minutes or until thickened.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
