Grilled French Bread in Foil

Grilled Garlic Bread

When you grab the garlic bread right off the grill or fresh outa the oven do you go for the heel or a slice from the middle? I like the heel. I like all of that crusty crunch you get from the edges. Not to mention the cheese in the Grilled Garlic Bread and BUTTER! Soooo amazing.

And if I’m going to be even more specific I really just go after the cheese! Sometimes it’s best that I’m the one dishing up the plates in the kitchen…

Know what I mean? ?

Yes, yes you do!

I love popping this Grilled Garlic Bread on the grill along with my main dish because it’s so easy and it’s always a hit with everyone. My family is a bunch of carb lovers, especially my niece. One day that will catch up with her I keep warning her 😉

Quick and easy, super cheesy grilled garlic bread is the perfect side for just about any meal! Wouldn’t it be delicious served alongside this Southwest Pork Loin or perhaps these Grilled BBQ Chicken Drumsticks! Whatever you choose, garlic bread in foil is delicious to serve alongside any feast!!!

The butter, garlic and cheese mixture is slathered on the loaf of French bread. It gets all melty and everyone fights over the last piece!

Grocery list for grilled garlic bread

What other breads can be used for garlic bread?

French bread is my bread of choice, but just about any baguette will be delicious, Italian, sourdough or ciabatta. All would be delicious and cheesy garlic bread!

The cook time should be about the same for the oven; 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.

do you put the bread on direct heat or indirect?

I would recommend indirect or the bottom will get really crispy. If you do direct just rotate it!

Everyone loves bread (well most), and the addition of the cheese and making it on the grill makes this all the more appealing! Yum!

This is the perfect addition to dinner on the grill! Why heat up the oven when you can toss this delicious bread onto the grill right beside everything else?! I made last week and was literally drooling while I waited for it to finish cooking.
