Tender, juicy BBQ Pork Tenderloin is marinated in homemade barbecue marinade then grilled to sticky sweet perfection. It’s the perfect quick meal on the grill. Plus, it’s healthy, just what you are looking for!
The best way to cook a Pork Tenderloin is on the grill – hands down. And the grill just so happens to be the best way to cook a pork tenderloin! Especially when they are covered in this delicious homemade BBQ marinade that you use to baste them while grilling and the result is a perfect sticky sweet and juicy pork tenderloin!
Another thing I love about this recipe is it’s totally one you can enjoy on a weeknight. Take five minutes in the morning to mix up your marinade and throw it in the fridge for the day, come home and fire up the grill, throw the pork on and you have dinner in 30 minutes.
If you are really short on time, whip up the marinade the night before and have half of it in the fridge in a Ziploc bag. Then in the morning, just add your pork tenderloin to the bag and toss to coat. It will take you a max of two minutes.

- Rest – Remove from grill when the internal temperature is at 145 degrees Fahrenheit according to an instant read thermometer. Tent with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Should I close the grill lid?
You betcha! Closing the lid of your grill will allow the temperature to stay consistent, in turn cooking the pork tenderloin more evenly.
How To Bake Pork Tenderloin In the oven
If you prefer to use the oven, simply follow the same directions, but bake in the oven on a baking sheet at 350 degrees Fahrenheit instead of using the grill. Cook time should be the same but you should still use a thermometer to check that the internal temperature is 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have a Weber charcoal grill. I grilled indirect, turning and basting as you suggested. Using a temp gage, I removed at 142 degrees and covered till it reached 145 degrees. The last couple min I did flip and put over direct flame to get those grill marks. Marinated in fridge 16 hours. Huge hit for the extended family! WOW good!

I gave it three stars because it calls for HOMEMADE barbecue sauce but doesn’t include a recipe for it or a link to a recipe.
