Brussels sprouts will no longer be on the list of veggies the kids won’t touch after you serve these! Blackstone Brussels sprouts are seasoned perfectly and have a crispy texture on the outside. This fresh Brussels sprouts recipe is fast and easy plus they are tossed in butter, so they really do have the best flavor. This side dish is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

  • This easy side dish only takes 20 minutes total time to prepare, making it perfect to add to a weeknight meal.
  • The seasonings are a perfect sweet and savory combination to add the best flavor to this otherwise bitter vegetable. Plus I know you’ve already got them all in your pantry.

Ingredients for Blackstone Brussels Sprouts

  • Butter – Salted or unsalted butter, whichever you have on hand will be fine. You can also use olive oil if you need these to be dairy free.
  • Brussels sprouts – These are always delicious, but they’re exceptional from September to March when they are in season.
  • Seasonings – Garlic powder, brown sugar, salt and ground black pepper.

How to Make Brussels Sprouts on the Blackstone Griddle

  1. Trim the Brussels sprouts, wash them and then cut the sprouts in half.
  2. Melt butter on preheated Blackstone grill.
  3. Add the Brussel sprouts to the grill and toss to coat them in butter. Spread them out into a single layer. Add the garlic powder, brown sugar, salt and ground black pepper to the top of the Brussel sprouts and stir until combined.
  4. Cook, stirring frequently for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Cover the Brussels sprouts with a cooking dome and cook for 3-5 more minutes flipping them halfway through. Cook until the Brussels sprouts are to the tenderness and brownness that you prefer.
  6. Remove from the griddle and serve immediately.

Pro Tips

  • Larger sprouts will not cook as quickly as smaller ones, cut them into quarters so they cook more evenly.
  • When you are buying sprouts, choose bright green without brown or yellow spots, if possible.

Storage and Reheating

Fridge: Store leftover Brussels sprouts in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Freezer: I do not recommend storing cooked Brussels sprouts in the freezer as they will not likely stay very crispy when they thaw.

Reheat leftovers on the Blackstone griddle until hot throughout. You can also reheat them in the air fryer if you want to add a little more crispiness.

In just 20 minutes, you’ve got a restaurant quality side dish – Brussels sprouts that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with the best seasoning combination. I know your family is going to love them.
