ingredients for blackstone fried potatoes

  • Baby potatoes – Quartered, they are the perfect size to fry on the Blackstone griddle. Stick to a yellow variety as red potatoes are waxy and can turn pretty mushy.
  • Olive oil – Use oil to coat potatoes in seasoning as well as to fry the potatoes on the griddle. You can use other oils you may have on hand such as vegetable oil or avocado oil.
  • Seasonings – Garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt and fresh ground black pepper.

  • Use any light tasting oil with a high smoke point.

what to serve with blackstone fried potatoes

Fried potatoes are one of our favorite side dishes for just about any meal! In our house, we love to have them with a colorful salad and grilled chicken thighs or a simple grilled salmon.

If you want to do double duty and just use the Blackstone to cook the whole meal, go for a classic like steak or something with a little more to offer like a steak kabob with perfectly grilled vegetables.

These are also great to use as a side at brunch with a classic eggs and bacon, an omelette or a breakfast sandwich.
