Make juicy, seasoned Blackstone Tacos with sizzling ground beef, warm tortillas, and your favorite toppings—ready in minutes on the flat-top griddle. This easy, crowd-pleasing recipe is perfect for weeknights, camping, or tailgates and scales for a big batch.

Three soft flour tacos filled with ground beef, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheddar cheese, displayed on a white surface with bowls of sour cream, salsa, and black olives nearby.

Nothing beats taco night in our house and we love preparing Blackstone tacos so we can hang outside together while they cook! Taco seasoned ground beef gets a little extra flavor from salsa and you can add some heat with a spicy version.

We think what the kids love most about taco night is that they get to load up the taco shell with all of the things they like, leaving out anything they don’t particularly enjoy. Whether you are hosting at home or you’ve brought your Blackstone out to a tailgate party, these griddle tacos are going to be a big hit!

Ingredients For Blackstone Tacos

  • Olive oil – Use this on the Blackstone griddle, you can use canola oil or any other oil with a high smoke point.
  • Ground beef – We love beef tacos in our house but you can totally use turkey or chicken if you prefer.
  • Taco seasoning – Buy your favorite packaged taco seasoning or make it homemade with pantry staples like chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, paprika, ground cumin, salt and pepper.
  • Salsa – Use your favorite storebought salsa or make it homemade.
  • Water – This will add some moisture to the cooked beef so it’s a little saucy.
  • Soft tortilla shells – Use flour tortillas or corn tortillas, whichever is most popular in your house. You can also use hard shells.

Great Topping Ideas

  • Shredded cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Diced tomato
  • Diced onion

Storage And Reheating

Fridge: Store leftover taco beef in an airtight container, separate from the tortilla shells and taco fillings for up to 4 days.

Freezer: Freeze leftover beef once cooled completely in individual portions for convenient lunches or as a whole to eat for a meal another day. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.

Reheat leftover taco beef on the stovetop or in the microwave with a little bit of water to keep the beef from drying out.

How To Serve Blackstone Tacos

To start, set out bowls of everyone’s favorite taco toppings. Don’t forget the tortilla chips so everyone can enjoy a little extra salsa, guacamole or sour cream. The guacamole always disappears first in our house!

If you’re hosting, mix up some Palomas and Spicy Margaritas for the grown ups and Shirley Temples for the kiddos.

More Great Blackstone Recipes
