Ingredients for Pork Chop Seasoning

  • Garlic powder – If you only have garlic salt on hand, cut back on the amount of kosher salt.
  • Onion powder – Adds depth to the flavors.
  • Kosher salt – Or sea salt, will help break down the protein, adjust if you are watching sodium intake.
  • Ground black pepper – Mix it up with white pepper. Pepper gives it the perfect amount of zip.
  • Smoked paprika – You could use regular paprika, but we love the addition of smoky flavor.

How To Make Homemade Pork Chop Seasoning

Grab a bowl and mix up your seasoning. That’s all you have to do to.

If you have extra seasoning, store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. It will keep for up to two years, but we recommend using it within a year.

Storage

When stored in an airtight container or jar in a cool, dry place, this seasoning will last up to two years, but we recommend using it within a year for the best flavor.

Pro Tips

  • Don’t feel like mixing up these ingredients each time you want this delicious pork seasoning? Make sure to buy a bottle of it on our shop!
  • Do not cook pork at too high a temperature or it will dry out.

How to Grill Pork Chops

  1. We recommend applying the seasoning to your pork chops and letting rest about 10 minutes before you are ready to cook them. Liberally season pork chops and then let them sit.
  2. Place the chops on the preheated grill over direct heat and let cook for about 6 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pork chops, flip and grill for an additional 6 minutes.
  3. Remove from the grill when pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Cover with foil and let rest 3-5 minutes before enjoying. This will let the fibers of the meat relax and give you the ultimate juicy pork chop.
